Private language classes
Private language courses focus exclusively on each learner’s needs and objectives and provide the highest level of customization for an accelerated learning experience.
Our instructors have all the skills and tools to adapt to each learner’s pace and specific needs, while incorporating key essentials to help them reach their goals in the target language.
We offer different levels of flexibility to cater to even the busiest schedules:
- Standard course – 6-week grace period.
- Privilege course – 6-month grace period. Ideal for extended postponement needs, for business trips for instance.
- Executive Course – 12-month grace period, our most flexible option. The learner books each class at the time of their choice up to 48 hours in advance.
Cancellation policy
Class cancellations must be communicated to the Prolang administration no later than 4:00PM the business day before the class.
Classes cancelled without appropriate notice will not be made up.
Group classes
Group learning is an effective and stimulating solution for employees of a company that share common language goals. Participants are assessed to create homogeneous groups that promote interaction and collaboration.
Thanks to dynamic activities, realistic role plays, and relevant discussions, learners bond with their coworkers and gain confidence to speak French or speak English effectively at work.
Groups are made up of 3 to 6 participants, allowing each learner to benefit both from personalized instructor attention and from stimulating exchanges with the other learners.
Cancellation policy
Individual absences to group classes cannot be made up.
No schedule change or interruption in the course will be allowed, unless it is communicated prior to the start of the training.
Any cancellation made by Prolang will be made up at the end of the session.
Intensive language classes
Need to shift your learning into high gear? Sign up for a language "boot camp" with our intensive courses! Whether it's for a conference, an interview, a new position, or any other professional objective, you can count on our experienced instructors to help get you ready to shine.
Our intensive French courses and intensive English courses are available in private, semi-private or group classes, provided all participants have a similar level.
Example : Intensive language bootcamp – 35 hours a week :
Morning 3-hour class with your first instructor
Lunch 1 hour with an instructor
Afternoon 3-hour class with your second instructor
Intensive courses are offered according to each client's specific availability.
Hybrid classes
Daily practice plays a critical role in learning and maintaining a new language. Hybrid training combines instructor-led classes (in a private or group format) and self-paced learning via an online platform.
This accelerated approach helps maximize learner success in the target language.
We offer different platforms tailored to the needs of Canadian professionals. As experts in language training, we carefully select the one that best suits each client's profile and needs.
Business Workshops
If you don't have enough participants of a similar level to form homogeneous groups within your organization, you can reap all the benefits of our group classes in our inter-company format.
Our Business Workshops are Business English classes that are offered to professionals across a variety of sectors in small groups of 3 to 6 participants of the same level. Like with all of our other language classes, the focus is on oral communication and realistic practice to gain concrete Business English skills.
Business Workshop format:
- 10-week online session
- One 2-hour class or two 1-hour classes per week
- Groups of 3-6 learners of similar ability
- Optional: add a 3-month Altissia license to practice at your own pace outside of class
- Starting from $495/session (+ one-time processing fee for 1st-time registrants)
Registrations are open for the winter session that starts the week of January 27.
